context menu and search support would be great

please add context menu support to quickly get the required version, and additional ability to search a file would be great if at all we forget the saved location, sorting and grouping the files by its type wouls be an added plus.

Please add a safety index for removing old versions, as some old files should not be removed.

Make it so users can see a 'change-log' upon logging into the developers website.

Allows users to see exactly what changes have occurred between two "versions" (or more) of a particular file and allow these changes to be viewed anywhere in the world by adding online access to the change-logs. Even if it is purely the users...

File Sorting - Please allow file sorting in the list by modification date, by extension, etc.

I have really many files in each folders, and such sorting option would be very helpful.

Add a 'bookmarks' menu to remember frequently used folder locations.

Currently, it is necessary to browse to the folder you want to examine. It would be nice to have the possibility to add custom locations in a "bookmarks" menu. Perhaps also some kind of "recently used folders" and/or "most used folders"...

Show old versions in the right click menu.

So you can right click an item in windows explorer and see the old versions there instead of opening the program.

Allow relocation of older versions. Able to specifically appoint a location for older version to be saved, such as a network drive, ftp, or webdrive.

Having a back up of older version is a great idea for file security. The rule of thumb, the secure location of a backup file should not be at the same location of the original file. Would it be great if you can change the backup location instead...

Add a feature to restore selected folder (and it's subfolders) contents to a point in time.

For example; Manga Studio stores each edited comic page using a complex folder-subfolder structure. If I'd have to restore one page to a certain point of time, it would be very easy with the 'Restore folder and sub-folders to a point in time'...

Only store previous versions if new ones have been created or the previous version has been deleted, rather than having to save a copy of the whole collection of files just in case some are changed or deleted.

Explorer extension

Add a button to the explorer toolbar, to add folders from the explorer directly. Also add the option to the context menu of the folders. And option to see the history of the file when viewing file properties would be great too.

Allow the selection of more than one folder/file at a time to exclude backup folders more quickly in the side folder explorer

I find it very tedious when I choose to backup the wrong files and then I wish to exclude them as a backup but must exclude them one by one.

Restoring data after HDD crash

Is it possible to restore data from History Explorer after HDD crash or windows reinstallation? I feel that there is one importand thing is missing - data browsing in the database.

Yes this is possible, but you would have to place the database on a different drive.

There should be more personalization options.

Many people love to make their explorers, timelines, and folders colorful and cartoonish, or futuristic, things like that. Right now, i just has a few colors.

This software is pretty nice, but a context menu would be extremely useful. Also It looks very blank.
